professor of molecular genetics and biochemistry at the University
of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is an expert
in research on the molecular biology and immunology of HIV-1 and
related animal lentiviruses and on AIDS vaccine development.
Susan
Sepples, MSN, Ph.D., is associate professor of nursing
at University of Southern Maine's College of Nursing and Helath
Professions. She is a clinical nurse specialist in
adult health with a research background in HIV care and works in
the community with people living with HIV/AIDS. She currently teaches
the undergraduate content on HIV/AIDS and has developed a course
for graduate students in primary care on HIV management.
